A new shopping destination is coming to Pointe Nord on Nuns’ Island! From October 1 to December 31, 2026, La Boutique Réunion, in collaboration with the Librairie de Verdun, invites you to discover a pop‑up shop where French products, Quebec creations, books, games, and carefully curated finds come together.

Designed as a true neighbourhood shop, this new boutique aims to create a warm and welcoming place where Nuns’ Island residents can discover new products, enjoy personalized advice, and—above all—take pleasure in shopping locally.

French Products Selected for Their Quality

Fans of French products will discover a selection of brands known for their craftsmanship and quality. Among the must‑haves available in the boutique, you’ll find:

• Émile Henry — ceramic cookware
• Degrenne — tableware
• Jacquard — high‑quality textiles and accessories

La Boutique Réunion also aims to highlight several local artisans and creators. Visitors will discover products from La Vie apothicaire as well as chocolates from renowned Montréal chocolatier État de choc.

Ceramics will also be featured, including new creations by Ville‑Émard ceramic artist Makiko. And for lovers of unique pieces, Pointe Nord will offer an exciting exclusive: products from Le Tesson, winner of the 2026 1001 Pots award.

Ceramic collections will be available starting in late October to allow time for the creation and production of new pieces.

Books, Games, and Stationery also available

Thanks to the collaboration with the Librairie de Verdun, residents will also enjoy a selection of books, games, and stationery.

Our experienced booksellers will prepare a refreshed selection based on current literary releases, new arrivals, and emerging trends.

Looking for a book that isn’t available in the boutique? Good news: you’ll be able to order any French‑language title at no extra cost and have it delivered directly to the Pointe Nord boutique for quick pickup.

A Pop‑Up Boutique… That Could Become Permanent

This pop‑up boutique represents much more than a temporary presence for La Boutique Réunion and the Librairie de Verdun. Above all, it will allow us to meet Nuns’ Island residents, learn about their needs, and build connections with the local community.

Our hope is to make this experience a success and, eventually, continue the adventure permanently at Pointe Nord.

A decision regarding a permanent location will be made in January 2027, following this three‑month opening period.
