One community, three journeys: Discover Martin’s story

Martin is a cycling enthusiast and Pointe-Nord and Nuns’ Island network of bike paths fulfills everything he was looking for!

His is a fun story: he first fell in love with the neighborhood during a bike ride with his spouse. Their kids had just left the family home in Montreal and they were looking for a smaller and more convenient lifestyle. The quality construction, easy access to neighbourhood services and the combination of urban landscape and nature guided their choice, and they never looked back! Want to know more? New-York City Style: Portrait of Jean-Pierre and Dany

Previous SAX residents, professionals working Downtown with a heavy schedule, Jean-Pierre and Dany watched the Pointe-Nord evolution closely.

“Even if there are several residential towers on the island, we were waiting for the right project to enable us to have a direct view of the city, and that’s what we found in Evolo S. It was love at first sight when we discovered Nuns’ Island as it reminded us of the calm and picturesque region we come from, on top of the dynamic and urban aspect we were looking for when we moved to Montreal” explains Jean-Pierre.

Among the first buyers, they chose a 1455 square foot condo on the 23rd floor, with a view of the riverand the city. « New-York City Style! » adds Dany. The buyers were taken by the different style of the building. The fact that Alain Desgagnés, official designer of the project, was involved in the creation of the common spaces helped them make the final choice of buying in Evolo S.

“We know Alain personally and knew he would deliver a quality product that would stand out.”15-604_evolo150828_2_110

Unlike the other projects they visited, Pointe-Nord is planned in advance: “It isn’t just an assembly of buildings.”

“Keeping a healthy lifestyle is important to us, exercising 3 to 4 times a week, and eating healthy enable us to balance work and pleasure.  We see ourselves as urban foodies, so we love that we can have a great meal right next door. We are also very social beings, so the community aspect is of great importance to us as well. »

The neighbourhood lifestyle is friendly and develops gradually with the addition of new shops.

Because there will be a train stop at Pointe-Nord, Dany promises to use this mode of transportation to go to work downtown.
